2006 Best Devon Rex - GC, BW,RW, Permarex Amaretto Swirl aka Ami

This is our Ami. She is a very special Devon, one that every cattery hopes to someday produce. Our someday came August 29th 2004. Her Parents are CH Permarex Atomic Tangerine and GC Dilettante Aliana of Permarex. When She was born I new within the first four weeks of life that this girl was going to go places, she just had that special sparkle!

When we first started showing her as a kitten, She started out in the show circut with a bang, with the judges commenting over and over about her lovely color, mounds of curls for such a young Devon. By the time Ami reached the end of her run as a kitten at the age of eight months she had reached the standings of her 1st regional win placing 23rd best kitten.

Ami,at Eight months preceded to the Championship class and became a two show Grand Champion! not bad for a minority breed. Ami was a trooper and we showed almost every weekend for a year. We had some really fine shows one being the CFA International show where she became one of five to reach the Best of the Best! this is a huge accomplishment. And ended her year as Best Devon Rex in the United States in CFA for 2006. And in additon added her 2nd regional win as a adult placing 8th best cat in the region. She and our Cattery were featured in a full page artical with USA TODAY look under my links page for the article!
